Accessible digital education for safer interactions

Empowering neurodiverse Victorians to navigate police encounters safely

NeuroJustice is a digital education platform developed by Cyberstronomy Pty Ltd to help neurodiverse people, including people with autism, ADHD and other cognitive differences, understand and practise safer interactions with law enforcement.

Why NeuroJustice matters

Reducing misunderstanding

Communication, processing or sensory differences can be misread as non-compliance, avoidance or aggression. NeuroJustice supports calmer, clearer communication.

Building confidence

The platform uses scenario-based learning so people can practise common situations before they happen in real life.

Supporting inclusion

The project aims to foster trust between neurodiverse citizens, support services and law enforcement.

How it works

NeuroJustice uses adaptive, scenario-based education to support communication, emotional regulation and understanding of rights. Learning activities are designed to be practical, self-paced and accessible.

Learning formats

  • Roadside stops, ID checks and home visit scenarios
  • Simplified language and pacing controls
  • Clear visual structure and screen-reader friendly pages
  • Support for future Auslan, audio and offline access options

Project goals

  • Reduce unnecessary escalation
  • Increase knowledge of rights and communication options
  • Build trust between communities and institutions
  • Inform future training and policy design

Join the movement

Cyberstronomy is seeking partners from education, justice, disability, advocacy and community sectors to help bring NeuroJustice to more Victorians.
